Getting stuck with a Scandinavian version of Google is seen as a small price to pay by those trying to hide their digital traces and circumvent censorship on the net.

【大纪元1月1日讯】(自由亚洲电台记者申铧报导)中国国家广播电影电视总局27号发布《关于依法查处非法“网络电视台”有关情况的通报》，宣布取缔非法网络电视台。新华社在相关报导中，点了七个网络电视台的名，包括“中国国际网络电视台”、“中国经济网络电视台”等，并说这些非法网络电视台有的擅自在互联网自办新闻节目，设分台、记者站，有的还伪造政府许可证等等。

对于中共政权取缔“非法网络电视台”的做法，《雾锁中国－中国控制媒体策略大揭秘》一书的作者何清涟以及美国动态网总裁比尔．夏说，互联网用户主导互联网的内容是互联网发展的大趋势，中共政权的控制不会有效和长久。
